Artist Statement/Biography:
My sculptural pieces explore the possibilities of interlacing hard and soft materials: fiber, copper, glass, wire, wood, and found objects. They speak to the hidden vitality and creativity buried beneath the triviality and horrific of too many lives.

Through my company della Luxa, llc., I make to order passementerie for fashion and interiors (silk, tasseled drapery tiebacks; kumihimo braid and cord for wearable art, art furniture, and  jewelry).
