Artist Statement/Biography:
The interpretation of landscape through abstraction characterizes Hannah Bureau’s Paintings. She is inspired by the properties and subtleties of color, often using neutral grey hues to play up saturated notes of color. Hannah also works as an illustrator at Houghton Mifflin company. Hannah attended Bard College and is a graduate of the Rhode Island School of design.
