Artist Statement:
A literal translation of my work is difficult. My paintings are not about any one thing, but are more of an amalgam of thoughts and ideas. Certain forms and marks repeat throughout the pieces, changing and developing as they progress. Although it is always a struggle, there is nothing particularly profound here. I am simply attempting to create a personal sense of order out of the chaos, expose beauty and search for something to believe in.
