Parking

PLEASE NOTE: Except for handicapped guests, there is no guest parking in the 144 Moody Street lots during events.  

OPEN STUDIOS PARKING at RTN CREDIT UNION
Free parking will be available courtesy of our sponsors the RTN Credit Union at 600 Main Street in Waltham - at the corner of Main Street and Elm Street, a 5 minute walk away from the WMAA. Parking at RTN is only available at the times indicated below, and is on a first come first served basis. 

OPEN STUDIOS VISITOR PARKING HOURS at RTN:
SATURDAY NOVEMBER 3:  12:00 - 7:00 PM
SUNDAY NOVEMBER 4: 12:00 - 7:00 PM

Visitors parked in the lot outside of the scheduled times WILL BE TOWED. Visitors blocking other vehicles will also be towed. Please be courteous!

PUBLIC AND METERED PARKING
There are several metered lots within close walking distance to the WMAA, that are free after 6:00 and on Sundays and .25 an hour otherwise. 

Directions to the WMAA

From Route 128:
Take Exit 26 on to Route 20 East (Main Street) to Waltham Center. Turn right just after the SOVEREIGN BANK on to  Moody Street. The Waltham Commons will be on your left. Travel one block down Moody, after you cross the railroad tracks, 144 Moody Street is almost immediately on your left,  directly behind the Enterprise Rental Car. Look up to your left and you'll see the building with the OPEN STUDIOS Banner on it.  

From Boston:
Take Route 20 West to Waltham Center (Main Street). You'll pass City Hall and the Waltham Commons on your left. At the light immediately after the Commons, take a left on to Moody Street, travel one block down Moody and cross the railroad tracks. 144 Moody Street is almost immediately on your left.  directly behind the Enterprise Rental Car.  Look up to your left and you'll see the building with the OPEN STUDIOS Banner on it. 

MBTA: Buses 70 and 70 A (Cambridge, Watertown); buses 553 and 554 (Boston, Newton Corner) and the Fitchburg Line Commuter Rail (North Station, Porter Square) to Waltham Station, Central Square in Waltham. The WMAA entrance is less than a block down Moody Street from the station.
