MEXICAN FOLK ART & PUPPETRY DEMONSTRATION
Guest Artist: Pat Picciano
Moody Station Studios, Bldg 18, 3RD Floor
Saturday November 3, 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM
Sponsored By: Margaritas Restaurant

Join us for a special tribute to mask maker and Mexican folk artist Juan Horta Castillo,  last year's Open Studios Guest Artist. At Open Studios 2006, Juan delighted us all with his beautiful hand carved masks and folk art. Juan passed away last December.

Come  celebrate Juan's life and art with guest artist Pat Picciano. Pat is an accomplished artist, a dear friend of the WMAA and  a student of Juan’s.  Pat will demonstrate puppets that he and Juan carved for the production of El Trato, a Mexican folk tale.

For more information about El Trato, Margaritas and their Education Outreach Program and please visit them  at www.margs.com
